About us

Bollington Printshop

Bollington Printshop was first established under the name of L.N. Cards, way back in 1982. The company created a range of original, handmade greetings cards, which were sold up and down the country. Now, 21+ years on, the business has diversified into the design and printing of all types of stationery and associated items, both for home and business use.

We are an independent company specialising in quality printing and original design.

Simon Nottage - Partner

Simon Nottage, one of the partners, is a former Plastics project engineer and now heads our design team, using the latest computer technology.

Matthew Wray - Designer

Simon's right hand man is Matthew Wray, a young and very talented Graphic Designer with a flair for drawing cartoons

James Kerr - Print Manager

James Kerr is our Print Manager and has worked for us for nearly 15 years.

He is dedicated and conscientious and will go to any lengths (well, nearly), to ensure that your finished print is of the highest quality

Louise Nottage - Partner

Louise Nottage created L.N. Cards, persuaded Simon to pack in his job and was then relegated to the position of Accounts Manager. She has recently "got back to her roots", by designing Christmas and greetings cards and is currently working on a new collection for sale in the shop. These cards are marked under the L.N.Cards banner.

21 Years of Service

Throughout this time, our "Mission Statement", for want of a better phrase, has been "to produce individual, quality stationery at a reasonable price". We pride ourselves on personal service and attention to detail.

Bollington Printshop is based at "The Old Stables", which is situated in the picturesque village of Bollington, near Macclesfield in Cheshire. Bollington is on the fringes of the Peak District, overlooking the Cheshire Plain and is famous for having 22 pubs and a strange monument, known as "White Nancy", on top of the hill overlooking the village. Bollington Printshop itself is near to the village centre, with direct access from the rear of a large FREE CAR PARK. (See map on "Contact us" page).
