Bollington Printshop has, for many years, offered Quality Printing and Design, Copying & Duplicating, Office Stationery supplies and services from our premises in Bollington, Nr. Macclesfield, Cheshire. We have recently further broadened the scope of our products and services by joining Ordnance Survey Options, a nationwide network of outlets stocking the national mapping agency’s complete range of business graphic and leisure products.
As an Options outlet, we are exclusive local suppliers of large-scale Siteplan, Landplan and Superplan map data and printed plots, widely used by Building Professionals, Architects and Engineers for site location, conveyancing, project planning and land management. People who are intending to build an extension will also benefit from the customised map service, as Siteplan is the recommended mapping for planning applications.
Business customers can choose from paper plots or digital data, depending on whether they need hard copies to take with them to a building site or to view on screen in a CAD (computer-aided design) system. Our fully trained, knowledgeable staff offer a view before you buy service, helping customers visiting the printshop to select their data on screen and customise it before purchasing as a printout or data file.
Superplan data, for example, contains up to 60 layers, such as roads, railways, buildings and waterways, that can be switched on or off to allow customisation specific to individual project needs. The mapping can also be clipped into linear strips or irregular-shaped areas.
Customers can also choose the mapping they want from the comfort of their own office via a secure Internet browser enabled by our staff. This allows them to select and download mapping data straight from a daily updated database into their CAD system or onto a printer.
